Generally speaking, the gravel production line can be divided into feeding, primary crushing, secondary crushing, tertiary crushing or sand making or modeling. Each step requires different stone processing equipment. The appropriate processing equipment should be selected according to the actual situation of the gravel production line, production capacity, stone size, budget and other requirements.


Crushed stone production line processing equipment

The gravel production line is suitable for hydropower, building materials, highways, urban construction and other industries. It can be used to make aggregates and artificial sand from hard limestone, granite, basalt, river pebbles, slag and other materials. It is especially suitable for the production and processing of special construction fields such as highway pavement materials, highway pavement gravel, high-speed railway passenger dedicated line gravel aggregate, hydropower station gravel materials, port terminals and airport runway gravel materials.


A complete ore crushing production line usually consists of crushing equipment, sand making equipment, screening equipment, sand washing equipment, transportation equipment and other processes. According to the ore crushing process, it can be roughly divided into three types: coarse crushing, fine crushing, and sand making. The coarse crushing link uses jaw crusher or mobile jaw crusher; the medium and fine crushing link uses impact crusher or cone crusher; the sand making link uses sand making machine, compound crusher or fine crusher, etc.

If hard materials are broken, the main machine usually needs a jaw crusher, cone crusher and sand making machine; if low hardness materials are broken, the main machine can use a jaw crusher, impact crusher, sand making machine, etc.; if the site is small, it can A new tower-type sand and gravel production line system is adopted, which occupies a smaller area; if there is a need for movement or transfer, mobile crushing equipment can be used.



Crushed stone processing process

Large stones are evenly sent to the jaw crusher for coarse crushing by the vibrating feeder through the silo. The coarse stones are sent to the impact crusher by the belt conveyor for further crushing; the finely crushed stones are sent by the belt conveyor. Go to the vibrating screen and screen out several different sizes of stones. The finished product belt conveyor sends the stones that meet the particle size requirements to the finished product pile; the stones that do not meet the particle size requirements are returned by the belt conveyor and sent to the impact crusher for crushing again, forming a closed circuit multiple times.



How to configure the production equipment of the gravel production line

1. According to the nature of raw materials

The selection can be made based on the hardness and size of the raw stone material and whether the rock is soft or hard and brittle. Generally speaking, impact crushers and hammer crushers can be used to crush soft and brittle materials, while cone crushers can be used to crush hard and brittle materials.


2. According to the performance of the crusher

For coarse crushing, you can choose a jaw crusher, which has large crushing and squeezing capabilities, and the sand and gravel contain more needle flakes; for medium and fine crushing, you can choose a cone crusher, impact crusher, hammer crusher and impact crusher. Machines, their products have good particle shape; impact crushers and hammer crushers can be used for materials with medium hardness and below, and cone crushers can be used for materials with medium hardness and above.


3. According to the output of gravel sand making equipment

Different equipment types and models can be selected according to the required sand and gravel equipment output. Better configuration can reduce investment capital.


4. According to the crushing standards of finished materials

Finished material quality requirements standards will also affect the selection of equipment. If the requirements for gravel particle size are high and the materials need to be finely crushed and molded, a sand making machine equipment is required.
